“COVID pandemic has affected everyone in every country around the world. It has a severe impact on countries relying on tourism and migrant workers. Many companies are downsizing and there are limited opportunities available. Due to travel restrictions and embassies working with limited capacity, even the limited opportunities available, we cannot process the work permit. Until the COVID pandemic is under control and the economy is in recovering, we are putting the recruitment side of our activities on hold.

However, our advocacy is more active. Since the pandemic began, the problems of human trafficking and forced labor have skyrocketed. There are more people desperate for any jobs and there are companies who take advantage of them. We are actively monitoring the situation and working with our collaboration partners to create awareness of the issues.
